05/29/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Arrived on site and met with manager. We both walked up to unit to find tenant in unit along with at least five other men drinking beer and hanging out. A verbal confrontation happened between the manager and the tenant to the point where the manager had to call TPD. TPD arrive with two units and we all explain to him why he can no longer be on the unit. Maintenance was going to board the window and changed the lock today. Tenant was also instructed if you needed to get back into the apartment for any reason he must go through the manager and arrange that. Will move to close out this case as tenant is out, and locks have been changed and window will be boarded. Officer Castillo and officer Valdez where the officers responding.

05/09/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Arrived on site try to make contact with manager on site however she was not in and not answering her phone. Went to unit 1308, knock on door and was met with tenant Leroy. Asked him what he was doing in unit and stated he was still cleaning up. Inquired about the electricity and he stated it has still not been turned on do to a large Bill still being owed. Advised him again that he cannot be at the property living there as I peered into the unit I did see some cleaning supplies and broom, however unit was 80 to 90% full with items. It's almost been 20 days since my posting and still no electricity with these occupants staying in the unit. Met with management and advised her to either pay for the electricity for the unit to be energized or have the tenant evicted at this point for it is illegal for occupants to continue living in a dwelling without utilities. She asked for a copy of the notice and get with her legal team to start the eviction process
