THE PETITION LETTER APPROVED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL DATED 5/1/2016 STATES A METHOD OF CALCULATION THAT ESTIMATES THE AVERAGE CORRELATED COLOR TEMPERATURE (CCT) OF LIGHTING AREAS BASED ON THE CONTRIBUTION OF LIGHTING WITH DIFFERENT KELVIN RATINGS. THE ALTERNATE DESIGN DEMONSTRATES THE AVERAGE CCT OF THE LIGHTING AREAS, WHICH INCLUDE FIXTURES WITH RATING ABOVE THE LIMIT HAVE A BLENDED COLOR AVERAGE BELOW THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE. THE PROPOSAL MEETS THE INTENT OF THE REGULATION IF ALL WALL PACK AND POLE LIGHTING ON SITE HAVE A COLOR TEMPERATURE RATING THAT DOES NOT EXCEED 3000 KEVIN. AS FAR AS THE LIGHT TRESPASS COMPLAINT, THE BUILDING LUMINARIES ARE FULL CUT OUT AND OVER 25 FEET OF ADJACENT RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY. THERE IS NO VIOLATION AT THIS TIME.
