Did meet with the Ward 5 office to let them know on what is being done with the property on the shut down. Arrived to the property and the plumbers were on site pumping out the water out of the ditches. Did ask for the permit and they did not have one and will go and get the permit. Did advise that no work could be done until the permit has been issued. Was asked on filling back the trenches and not completing the new install. Did adivised that the exising lines need to be re-connected and the also requires a permit. Did have inspector Vidiola and Maritza check the units to check on what was occupied. The management was called that they had till 5:00 PM to have the sewer back and running or the tenants off the property. Will come back after 3:00 PM. RV. | |
03/15/2018 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Went back to the site and the plumber were still working and the lines were not completed on the connection back to exisiting. Did meet with the management and they were in the process of placing the tenants in hotels. The permit has been issued and did go over the after hour process if they get done and need a late night inspection and will need to make arrangements. Did do the N.O.V to Vacate the occupied units and did the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window on the units occpied. The management signed the paperwork and the tenants were waiting to check where they were going. RV. | |
03/14/2018 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | The administator Rick Saldate called that T.P.D. on site with open trenches. Arrived and the units still on site and found the open trenches through out the property due to were in the propcess of install new sewer lines. Did check permits plus and found no permit for the work being done. Did try and call the company and they stated that they have no contract to do the work being done with Roto Rooter. Did call the administrator due to the time of night it was and will come back tomorrow at day light hour to check the site better. RV. |
