MET WITH MANAGER JOHN SERENO WHO INFORMED ME THERE HAS BEEN SOME ISSUES WITH THE PROCESS BECAUSE OF A CHANGE OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT RIGHT AFTER THE OCCURANCE OF THE FIRE. THE NEW PROPERTY MANAGER IS VALLEY VISTA MANAGEMENT OUT OF SCOTTSDALE AZ. SINCE THE FIRE HAPPENED THE UNIT HAD BEEN POSTED BY LAWYER OF PREVIOUS MANAGEMENT COMPANY FOR EVICTION AND ABONDONED TITLE BUT THAT ACTION FELL THRU WHEN PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CHANGED. MEL COMPSTOCK TOOK OVER THE PROCESS FOR VALLEY VISTA. THEY HAVE GONE TO COURT TWICE, THE SECOND HEARING THEY WON THE CASE AND ARE NOW ALLOWED TO CLEAN AND REMOVE EXTERIOR FIRE DAMAGED DEBRIS. MIKE LA JOYA LANDSCAPING WILL BE DOING THE CLEAN UP AND WILL TAKE PLACE ON 3/12/2018. MEL BEGAN THE ABANDON TITLE PROCESS WITH BANKERS TITLE APPROX TWO WEEKS AGO, IT IS A 6-8 WEEK PROCESS AND THEY HOPE TO BE COMPLETED IN APPROX 30 DAYS FROM TODAY (3/07/18). I DID INSPECT THE UNIT, IT REMAINS VACANT AND SECURED. THE ONLY GIVE AWAY THAT THE UNIT IS BURNED IS THE FIRE DAMAGED FRON AWNING/ PORCH. ALL WINDOWS ARE BOARDED. EXTERIOR HAS BEEN KEPT CLEAN, TRAILER PARK IS VERY NICE AND WELL MAINTAINED. THERE ARE NO VIOLATIONS AT THIS TIME. |
