10/01/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the site and all the gas meters will be installed by Friday. Only 10 are lacking at this time from being connected. Just waiting for the inspection to be completed and once the inspection done, the gas meters can be installed. The lots that are vacant and the units with all electric have all access to gas if required. Those lots are only lacking the meters but ready for connections if required. After all the meters are connected, they will be cleaning the property of the extra dirt and cleaning the site through out. RV.
07/17/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the manager and received a list of the gas meters on at this time. Has 82 with another 16 to be turned back on in 10 days. RV.
06/14/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Did check the progress and they will be tuning on more gas meters by tomorrow. Spaces 108 to 113 will be completed to have the gas turned back on. Hopefully 11 more by next week. RV.
05/31/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The administrator has requested that the count be done on the total spaces on the mobile home park and the gas meter that have been installed. Did get the count and did an E-mail. RV.
05/30/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Visited the mobile home park to check on the progress of the gas meters being installed and the main lines being installed. Some meters are waiting for inspection and the trenches are being requested to be filled before they are approved. RV.
05/14/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Supervisor Martin Romero called that calls have come in on broken water lines. Did check space #16 and does have a broken water line at the hose bibb for the mobile home and no digging was being done when the water line started to leak. Appears to have been leaking for awhile and got bigger. The plumbing contractor IN and Out was on site
05/10/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved 16 more gas meter have been installed and the 9 other meters are still on. Makes 25 meters on at this time to the mobile home park.
05/07/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the site due to calls coming in to the Ward 5 office for lacking gas to the mobile homes. Did meet with the contractor, manager of the mobile home park, Martin Romero, Pat Tapia and Carlos De La Torre on site. Did discuss the timeline on how this issue started the progress and what still has to be done. They will be done section at a time and getting the gas on before going to the next section. A section has been approved by the ACC and currently being inspected by the City of Tucson on the the gas line moving from the rear of the mobile home to the front of the mobile home where the gas meter will be installed. SWG was called to the site to have the gas installed and they requested that the holes all be filled where the units are going to be turned on. Currently gas is on to #19, #22, #23, #119, #121, #122, #124, #125, #126 on a temporary line until replaced with the new line. By this week more units will be turned back on and just waiting for the approval by SWG and the City of Tucson on the house line where moved from the rear to the front of the mobile home. These units will be turned back on, #137 to #127 and #1 to #11 hopefully by Friday. The crew worked on other mobile homes over the weekend on moving the gas line from the rear to the front to have the meter place when they are installed. Most of the main gas lines have been placed where bored but not connected. There will be no more boring due to the areas not bored are to hard to complete the boring. The areas not completed will be trenched to complete the connection of the main gas lines or the branches to the mobile home. A summary has been requested and should be done by tomorrow.
04/11/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with management due to the amount of calls getting to office for lack of gas. The contractor was on site and went over on what is being done on the property. The boring is still in the process in differnent section of the mobile home park, some piping has been installed on the northwest section of the park. The contractor had to bring different equipment in due to the boring is having difficulty in areas and breaking the bits. The will start boring accross the street areas to start lines on the other section of the street. The contractor has started moving the gas line from the rear of the mobile home to the front of the mobile home due to that's where the meter will be located. The process will take up to 6-months to be completed. Gas will be turned on as approved and will be working with zones. RV.
03/14/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Stop by the check the progress of the gas lines being installed. Has the main line on the north side of the property and trying to prep the connection to the mobile homes for the tie-in for the gas when ready to connect. Hoping to have gas to some of the units in a few weeks and will have to be approved by the ACC before the gas can be turned back on. Has the potholes through out the mobile home park for the gas lines to start to be installed on other areas. RV.
02/27/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Was called that Liberty Pipeline has been given the contract to have the new install of new gas lines through out the mobile home park. SWG has not called or been back to the mobile home park to give a bid on the work. Will take several months to have the work completed and will turn the gas on as soon as a section can be turned back on. Did go over the permit needed to connect the gas to the mobile home on each section or space. RV.
02/23/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Showed to a meeting with SWG to do a survey of the mobile home park to check on giving a bid for a new gas line to the whole park. They have a section that could be approved to have the gas turned back on but only for approx. 19 spaces out of 137 spaces. Once approved by the Corp. Commission, SWG will be called to have the gas turned back on once the meter is re-installed to the property of the master meter system. RV.
02/12/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The gas is still off and apprears that new gas lines may will be installed but are trying to have the isolation valves done first. The tenants have been given notice and did talk to the same person that I talk to on Thursday. I did talk to management and the valves will be started today to check if some of the areas can be done. The memos were given to the tenants on Friday once the leaks kept coming and not able to find all the leaks. Did let supervision know that the gas is off. RV.
