Did call the person which was the tenant and the ceiling had fallen and the tenant was shocked. Arrived and there was a water leak in the attic area in the kitchen. Had an old patch with compression fittings that were leaking. Was galvized pipe patched with copper pipe. The plaster ceiling fell over the stove. Approx. 8' x 8'. The tenant turned the breaker off at the main service panel and will remain off until tomorrow. Did call S.W.G. due to the smell of gas in the kitchen. When the owner showed, he turned off the valve at the meter due to the pilot on the gas stove. When S.W.G. showed, the gas meter was pinned due to was turned off. Did do the posting on the front window of Do Not Enter due to the unit was condemned due to the damage and the gas and electrical was removed at the meters. The tenants were taken to friends house until daylight hours and will be getting hotels. The owner will call the plumber to get the water turned back on. The property has two other units and they were OK and not affected. RV.
