Did see the unit leaving the site when arriving. Had a fire on rear outside wood frame deck on the second floor. Appears that trash and debris was on the deck and set on fire. The fire has gone done the shaft of a wood frame column and burned the framing in the column. The floor joist and the rim joist have burned on the deck on the upper floor and the column going to the first floor has burned. No other units involved in the fire but has smoke in the units. The unit was vacant and was secured to where the fire fighters did a force entry. The interior of the unit was not involved in the fire and the only damage was the fire on the outside deck. Not able to make contact with the management and did leave messages. The complex has changed the name and has banners with the new name of the complex on the building. Will do N.O.V and leave posted on the office door. RV. |
