02/04/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a golf cart on fire and went into the building. Arrived and all the units were clearing and the fire investigators were on site checking for cause. The golf cart was on the exterior of the unit and caught fire. The golf cart was a total lost and burned the wood post and beams to the upper deck to the upper units. The units that were affected were #103, #104, #107, #108. #103 and #104 belong to the complex and are used as storage and a shop. No damage to the interior. #107 and #108 are occupied units and no damage to the interior of the units except some light smoke damage when the doors were opened to check if anyone in the units. The exterior walls have smoke damage but no fire damage. The stairway is a metal frame and no damage except for smoke on the stairway. The anchors are OK and not involved in the fire. The wood post and wood beams are charred and will need to be replaced by a contractor. The management was on site and signed the paperwork and will secure at daylight hours. The window to the storage room was site but was burned and didn't have a sheet of plywood on site. The upper unit were able to be occupied and let the tenants back into the units. No posting placed due the bottom units belong to the complex. RV.
