SHE HAD A FRIEND HELPING HER WHO WAS A SMOKER AND SMOKED OUTSIDE ON THE FRONT PORCH AREA. TFD FELT SMOKE BILLOWED UP INTO THE RAFTER AREA BETWEEN A OPENING BETWEEN RAFTER AND FACIA AND LATER APPROX 9PM OCCUPANT SAW SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE AREA AND THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE A FIRE. SHE CALLED MAINTANENCE, THEY TOLD HER TO CALL TPD, TPD TORE DOWN THE PORCH CEILING AND PLACED SOME HOLES IN THE LIVING ROOM AREA, BUT FOUND NO CHARRING OR FIRE DAMAGE OF ANY TYPE, ANY WHERE. MY INSPECTION FOUND EXACTLY THAT, I CONTACTED TFD WHO GAVE THEIR EXPLANATION AND STATED THEY JUST WANTED TO BE SURE THAT OCCUPANT WOULD BE ALLOWED TO REENTER THE UNIT. MAINTANENCE STATED THEY WOULD REPAIR THE CEILING 4FT X 14 FT OR 1 PLUS SHEET OF DRYWALL... NO NOV WAS ISSUED. SPOKE WITH MARTIN ROMERO. CASE WILL BE CLOSED DUE TO NO FIRE. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE |
