10/05/2018 FIRE - FINAL Partial Approval Went over a few items with the owner while doing the hood final. We discussed:
-needs to get electric under hood to shut down.
-needs to verify they have two separate hood permits.
-mount extinguishers, including K in kitchen.
-remove exit sign above opening that leads to storage and kitchen. two main exits in front meet the requirements for his two required exits.
-either remove exit signs in rear or remove latches from chain link fences.
-hood is interconnected to FACP which is not listed for commercial fire. vista 20p. advised owner and eric from alarm co. to disconnect hood from panel or install a UL listed dedicated function commercial fire alarm.
-add address numbers to rear doors.
-obtain op permit for POA.
-panic not required on the second exit in front of house.
Still needs a fire final inspection. These were items discussed during his first hood final.
