Permit can be released after 10/9/18 per Director's Notice of Decision, with following corrections to Engineering calculations and drawings: 1) All engineering sheets to be re-stamped by engineer, as seal expired. 2) Engineering data is on an unstamped sheet for Volvo portion of sign production - have engineer seal and check all dimensions to match engineer's drawing. 3) Calculations need to be VERSION CHECKED & restamped - cross check with engineering drawings that shows a solid sign cabinetry construction from top to bottom - this drawing has the ribbon reveal support located between top/bottom faces. The calculations are from a prior iteration without a solid cabinetry construction, but an opening that is no longer applicable in the center of the cabinetry. Calculations need to be updated. 4) Spool (cylinder length and diameter between support plates) length appears incorrect - longer in spec sheet - and older iteration given the spacing is not the same between the sign cabinetry design as prior iterations. The length is not dimensioned on spec sheets, please add. Ensure engineer seals and matches to support plate specs on engineering diagram as is on spec sheet for spools/plates. 5) Engineering diagram sheet - label and use arrows to clearly ID which support plate applies to the mount on the drawing - the drawing titles are not clear as to which plate goes where on the sign cabinetry supports. 6) Engineer to fill out the special inspection form here, select type of special inspection(s) and qualified inspector(s) noted from the list maintained by the Town of Oro Valley.
