Thrall ( Heather.Thrall@tucsonaz.gov) 1) May 31, 2017 - Developer contacted staff. Revising parking calculations on DP16-0034 to change from retail/restaurant (which required shared parking with Target premises) to a retail/medical outpatient. This change would allow all parking for the lot to be met (42 spaces, would need less). Such a change allows for a freestanding sign at 32 square foot maximum as a self-contained premises per 3-77.C.5 of the Sign Code. 2) Due to update for pending allowance, the remaining elements of original plan have now been reviewed and are satisfactory to code: sign area, height, setback, footer, electrical, outside of SVT and on site per submittal package from April. 3) Once DP16-0034 has revised parking calc approved by zoning review, sign permit can be issued if inspection reveals no issues with sign height/grade and setback. |
