Exit signs shall be illuminated at all times. 1) You shall cause your exit signs to operate as stated above ( front e ntrance, Tod 1, Tod 2, infant room) 2012 IFC 1008.1.9.4 Bolt locks. Manually operated flush bolts or surface bolts are not permitted. 1) You shall remove the surface mounted slide bolt locks on the closet and office doors in the Tod 1 room, Tod 2 closet, Infant room closet. 2012 IFC 1008.1.9 Door operations. Except as specifically permitted by this section egress doors shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. 1) You shall remove the key locking cylinder from the exit door from the classrooms to the front office. This is part of the required exits and is not allowed. 2012 IFC 1023.2 Width. exit passageways serving an occupant load of less than 50 shall not be less than 36 inches (914 mm) in width. The required width of exit passageways shall be unobstructed. 1) You shall move the crib that is obstructing the full 36 inches of your exit door directly to the outside ( in the infant room). 2012 IFC 605.6 Unapproved Conditions. Open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes. 1) You shall place the approved light cover over the light box in the utility ( on ceiling). 2012 IFC 605.3.1 Labeling. The disconnecting means for each service, feeder or branch circuit originating on a switchboard or panelboard shall be legibly and durably marked to indicate its purpose unless such purpose is clearly evident. 1) You shall properly label the numbers in your breaker box to correspond with what they control. |
