The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction (including walls, fire stops, shaft enclosures, partitions, smoke barriers, floors, fire-resistive coatings and sprayed fire-resistant materials applied to structural members and fire-resistant joint systems) shall be maintained. 1) You shall repair wall in server room upstairs. 2) You shall maintain all UL listing plates for your fire doors and door jams free of paint. Plates are designed to inform the fire inspector of the fire rating of the door in order to ensure that it is being maintained. ( gym doors downstairs, office door downstairs, many upstairs office/corridor doors). 2012 IFC 605.4.2 Power supply. Re-locatable power taps shall be directly connected to a permanently installed receptacle. 1) You shall provide each power strip with its own direct connection to an installed receptacle. (Front desk) 2012 IFC with Tucson Modification 1030.10 Where panic and fire exit hardware is installed within the required path of egress or any area accessible to the public, there shall be no other locking device on the door. 1) You shall remove the quarter turn bolt lock on your main entrance into the lobby, as you have panic hardware installed on this door. 2012 IFC 1006.1 Illumination required. The means of egress, including the exit discharge, shall be illuminated at all times the building space served by the means of egress is occupied. 1) You shall cause your emergency light in the downstairs hallway to operate as required above. 2012 IFC 605.1 Abatement of electrical hazards. Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. 1) You shall clear the accumulation of paper and combustibles behind the front desk area surrounding your electrical connections. 2012 IFC 901.6.2 Records. Records of all system inspections, tests and maintenance required by the referenced standards shall be maintained on the premises for a minimum of three years and shall be copied to the fire code official upon request. 1) You shall provide a copy of your most recent annual inspection/servicing of your fire alarm system. |
