Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units still on site and checking for hot spots. Had a Christmas tree fire in the living room. The fire was out when the units arrived and had a lot of smoke through out the house. The tree is totally burned and the couches have burned. The fire followed the ceilings and walls in the living room and the ceiling has burned to the drywall. A small vent hole was cut on the roof and the vent on the east side was removed to vent the attic. The house has heavy smoke damage through out the house. The front door was forced opened and was damage on the metal security door on the exterior and the interior door has burned in the fire. The electrical and the gas was removed at the meter due to the the damage of the fire. The roof has a sag on the ridge and the fire fighters stayed off the roof and checked the status of the fire through the vent that was removed at the peak of the roof where removed. The owner was on site and signed the paperwork. The owner did give permission to have the front door secured due to not able to secure the door. Called Arcaiden Industries to have the door secured and the vent on the ridge covered. RV. |
