Received a call from the supervisor that T.P.D. on site with a vacant and unsecured structure. Arrived and the units still on site and the building vacant and secured including the fenced areas in the rear of the building. Does have a homeless camp in the front area of the building where the utilities are surrounded with a screen wall of a masonry wall. The person is sleeping on the ground behind the wall and has electrical that is all exposed and still has power to the building. The power is underground and on a CT can. The disconnect and gutters have burning where the wires touched the metal and arc'ed. Some of the wires are not connected and are live and not protected. Not able to make contact with the owner of the business or the owner of the building. Did call T.E.P. to have the power removed at the pole. The meter was removed that was a CT can. Did not have the homeless posting to place in the area and will come back in the morning to do the posting and check the area. RV. |
