Laurie the management assistance called and stated that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units still on site and went full alarm. They were still checking for hot spots. The house is a total lost and will be a full rehab. The gas meter was pinned, the electrical was cut at the pole due to the service wires burned and were on the ground. All the windows and doors were burned. Was not able to find a owner or responsible person for the property. Called Arcaiden Industries to have the property secured on all the openings with plywood. The house was vacant and unsecured and the neighbors stating that the high school kids were going in and out of the house at all times. While boarding the house did find out that the owner died. A sister lives down the street and never came over to the site. The trusses are burned and charred and the roof needs to come down. No one should walk on the roof. The floor is wood and will need to be checked if burned. Had two openings to get under the floor and those were covered with plywood. Did the posting on the front and rear of the house on the plywood covering the door and window. RV. |
