Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a dumpster fire and burned into the house. Arrived and all the units still on site and were checking to do the overhaul. The fire started outside the building near the containers for trash and debris and the recycle containers. The fire burned into the bathroom area through the overhang through the rafters. The drywall was pulled down from the ceiling to check for the fire and burning of the rafters in the bathroom. A vent hole was cut on the roof in the bathroom area. Some drywall was pulled down in the bedroom to check for fire in the ceiling near the bathroom area. The over hang on the northside of the building has charring on the wood rafters and the sheathing and some of the fascia. The gas and electical was turned off at the meters due to the damage to the unit. The management for the complex were on site and were placing the tenants in another unit on the same complex. The maintenance secured the broken windows and lock the units once the tenants were placed. The management signed the paperwork and have been in contact of the owner of the property. Old Pueble Community Services is leasing the property and will be making the needed repairs. RV. |
