Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire investigators on site checking for cause. The fire was in the laundry room area. The fire burned in the laundry room and has heavy smoke damage through out the house. A window in the family room broke and the door to the laundry room burned. Drywall was removed only in that area of the laundry room and the exterior of the laundry room to check for fire. The gas and the electrical was removed at the meters due to the fire damage. Has wiring in the laundry room and the family room that has fire damage and will need to be check for heat damage in the area that is behind the drywall in walls and ceilings. All the other rooms have no fire damage but have the smoke damage. The owner was on site and signed the paperwork and secured the house. The dryer was being used at the time of the fire where most of the damage occured. RV. |
