IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE PROPERTY IS A HISTORIC STRUCTURE AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMITTEE SHOULD BE CONTACTED. I CHECKED INTERIOR ELECTRICAL BUT FOUND NO OUTLETS OR WIRING IN THE EAST WALL. CHECKED THE ELECTRICAL SERVICE PANELS, THERE WERE TWO PANELS AND FOUR UNITS. PANELS WERE NOT WELL MARKED AND THEREFORE POWER WAS LEFT ON ONLY DUE TO UNIT ALREADY VACANT. DID NOT WANT TO CUT POWER TO THE ADJOINING UNITS. DAMAGE IS AS FOLLOWS;
> 4-0 X 5-0 WINDOW HIT AND DISPLACED, KNOCKED INSIDE ROOM.
>ADDITIONAL 60 -80 SQ FT OF DOUBLE BRICK WALL DAMAGED, WOOD HEAD ABOVE WINDOW REMAINED IN PLACE.
>60 -80 SQ FT OF EXTERIOR STUCCO DAMAGED.
>60 -80 SQ FT OF INTERIOR PLASTER DAMAGED.
>ADDITIONAL CRACKING IN THE EAST AND NORTH WALL, NO CRACKING SEEN IN THE CEILING PLASTER.
NO RESPONSIBLE PARTY ON SITE, TRIED CONTACTING OWNER AND PROPERTY MANAGER, DID RECEIVE A CALL BACK FROM IMAGINE REALTY INFORMED THEM THAT I WOULD SECURE THE PROPERTY BY BOARD UP AND HAND DELIVER NOV ON 9/28/17, THE FOLLOWING DAY.
TPD REQUESTED THAT INDIVIDUAL OWNERS OF VEHICLES CONTACT THEIR OWN TOWING COMPANIES TO REMOVE VEHICLES. CODE ENFORCEMENT CONTACTED ARCADIAN TO SECURE THE UNIT. POSTING WAS NOT PLACED ON SECURED WINDOW AFTER SPEAKING WITH PROPERTY MANAGER AND AGREEING THE POSTING MAY ATTRACT UNWANTED PERSONS.
