09/14/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Supervisor Martin Romero called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units still on site and had a fire on the 3rd floor in a light fixture and no damage to the building or the wiring in the wall. The light fixture was a total lost and will be replaced and will need to order a new fixture. Could take 4 to 6 weeks to get the light fixture. Has light smoke damage to the walls and the ceiling tiles in the hallway only. The rooms on the 3rd floor have no damage. The sprinkler head did not go off and the fire had an extinguisher used to put the fire out by one of the doctors on site. The electrical contractor was on site and had the light fixture removed from the wall and the fire investigators were checking for the cause of the fire. The breaker was turned off during the fire and was back on once the fixture was removed and the wiring in the wall was checked OK. The maintenance was cleaning the area and the offices in the area will remain opened. At this time the case will be closed due to replacing the light fixtures is a maintenace item and will not require a permit or inspection.
