08/29/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Was looking for the owner of another property and found where this property has no water. Talk to supervisor Martin Romero to go and check if water is on the property and was given permission. Arrived and no one home and not able to enter the gate and the masonry wall. Did find the water meter and has not water going to the property and has a pad lock on the curb stop. While looking for someone on the property, did find a irrigation pipe coming through the masonry wall and buried in the dirt going to the curb. The pipe did go across the street to address 340 E. Calle Arizona. Did talk to the tenant at 340 and the owner across the street installed the water line to water a tree. The line was not connected to anything on the property of 340 and went into the ground near the tree. The line was cut at the curb and in the street where it was smashed. The line was in the cracks of the pavement and sealed and was exposed in the middle of the street. The line was pushed into the masonry wall. The water department has been notified and will check further due to the tenant stated that the owner has a well on the property. At this time the case will be closed. RV.
