07/29/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH INSPECTOR VIDAL AND TPD OFFICER SCOTT, WENT OVER THE C/E PLAN TO INSPECT FOR PROPER FLOOR PLAN USAGE, AND OCCUPANCY DUE TO A RECENT RED TAG ON THE BUILDING BY TPD. DISCUSSED REASON FOR RED TAG, TPD STATED IT WAS NOT FOR MISUSE OF THE BUILDING. CALL WAS MADE FOR A PERSON INSIDE WITH A GUN. WHEN TPD ARRIVED THE PERSON WITH THE GUN WAS LOCATED AT THE FRONT OF THE STRUCTURE, WHEN CAUGHT BY TPD AS THE PATRON EXITED THE BUILDING, HE HAD NO GUN. OTHER THAN THAT PARTICULAR INCIDENT TPD CONSIDERED THE ACTION AT THE HOOKAH LOUNGE AS MILD. INSPECTOR VIDAL AND I CHECKED THE BUILDING FLOOR PLAN AND TPD WAS ASKED TO CONDUCT THE PERSON COUNT FOR THE C/O. FINDINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
>SEATING PLAN DID MEET APPROVED FLOOR PLAN THERE WAS NO PER SAY DANCE FLOOR AND DANCING WAS LIMITED TO A SINGLE PATRON HERE OR THERE DANCING NEXT TO THEIR TABLE.
>STORAGE ROOM BEHIND THE DJ BOOTH WAS 100 % CLEAR, NO STORAGE, NO PERSONS OCCUPYING THE ROOM, THE DOOR WAS NOT LOCKED BUT ROOM EMPTY.
>THE HALLWAY AREA EAST OF BOTH STORAGE ROOMS TO THE BATHROOM HALL SECTION WAS ALSO CLEAR, NOBODY STANDING AROUND IN THOSE AREAS AS REQUESTED.
>THE REAR STORAGE ROOM WAS BEING USED FOR OBVIOUS STORAGE THE COUCH IN THE FRONT STORAGE AREA HAS BEEN PLACED IN THE REAR STORAGE BUT DOES NOT APPEAR IT IS BEING USED.
>THE OFFICE IS BEING USED MORE AS A OFFICE SPACE, LIMITED TO THREE PEOPLE PROVIDING HOOKAHS FOR PATRONS.
>THERE IS A SPACE ON THE PLAN FOR A DJ
THE DESK AT THE DOOR ENTRY HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM LEFT SIDE TO THE RIGHT SIDE ALONG WITH COKE MACHINE, AND THESE ISSUES WERE SAID TO BE APPROVED BY CLAYTON AT A INSPECTION 2 MONTHS AGO. EXCEPT FOR THESE TWO ISSUES, C/E FOUND THE OWNERS TO BE IN BUILDING COMPLIANCE/ CLOSE CASE
