SPOKE WITH ARLENE BENAVIDEZ OF MEC WHO STATED THE DRIVER OF THE TRUCK PULLED IN TO THE LOT, WAS TRYING TO TURN AROUND AND THE EXTENDED RACK ON THE TRUCK HIT THE CANOPY / DRIVE THRU AREA DAMAGING A POP OUT ON THE OVERHEAD STRUCTURE. DAMAGE WAS MINIMAL, AND IT WAS NOT STRUCTURAL, RATHER APPEARANCE. EITHER SIDE OF THE RACK HIT THE FOAM POP OUT DAMAGING TWO SMALL SECTIONS OF 2 " FOAM AND STUCCO APPROX 16" X 16"
MET WITH DRIVER SKYLAR SYMINGTON OF GLASS UNLIMITED. SKYLAR DID REPORT THE ACCIDENT TO HIS SUPERVISOR RANDY (?) 235-6373, SKYLAR WAS UNCERTAIN IF HIS SUPERVISOR WAS COMING OUT. ( TPD HAS ALL INFORMATION IN THEIR REPORT)
SPOKE WITH RYAN TRIPP (COT REAL ESTATE DIVISION ) WHO STATED HE HAD SPOKEN WITH ARLENE BENAVIDEZ, RECEIVED HER INFORMAION AND RYAN STATED WOULD BE CONTACTING RISK MANAGEMENT. WILL REFER CASE TO REAL ESTATE DIVISION.
