| 06/21/2017 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Inspector RV called me out due to electrical hazards. I found the open spaces or missing filler blanks in the panel dead front. The breakers were not properly labeled or correct manufactuer to the panel. The wires for the A/C unit were not correctly identified. The entrance into the panel was above current carring parts without the proper sealing device. The conduit was not properly supported. We tested the voltage for all circuits and they appeared within correct ranges. The Compressor on the A/C unit does not appear to be operating. | |
| 06/21/2017 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Received call from the office and the unit had no AC. Arrived and the tenants were on site and the AC package unit on roof is running and not cooling. The temp. from the vents was 76 degrees to 79 degrees, The outside temp. was at 113 degrees. Did go on the roof and the compressor appears to not be operating. The temp. air from the fan was not hot. The roof has been replaced and the penatration on the roof have not been sealed. The exterior doors are sealed, the window in the northwest bedroom is not sealed, the smoke detectors are not working properly, the light fixture in the northwest bedroom goes on and off, the rear porch is not anchored properly and needs to be removed and replace with a permit if going to replace the porch. Did call Rick Hollander to check the electrical system due to the tenants are stated power surges and the lights dimming. Did call the owner due to the temp. in the house and the tenant has kids and was reading temp. of 90 degrees to 93 degrees. The owner was going to place the tenant in a hotel for the night and the owner has people comming to check some of the items that need to be repaired. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window and the owner signed the paperwork. The owner or the tenant will call if the AC is repaired to let the tenant back into the house. The owner stated that her AC service man can't come until Friday or Saturday to check the unit. That's who installed the unit. RV. |
