07/13/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Biff Baker Fence was called to the property to move the fence to the owners side of the property and to clear the street portion. The trash and debris from the collapsed building has been removed from the site. The Adobe wall has been knocked down and a small section was on the property. The fence panels that were in the parking lot for Monloney have been removed from the parking lot and placed on the owner side in the dirt area. The baracades have been left in the same place and the contractor will remove them once the street is able to be reopened. Will check in 10 days. RV.
06/26/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the property to open the gate to remove the escavator from the property and the contractor removed it. The general contractor was on site due to had different people looking at the damage and checking on what has to be done to keep the building standing. RV.
06/21/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Talk to the owners rep. last night and the fence was installed this morming. Biff Baker Fence installed the fence blocking the parking spaces just north of the Adobe wall until check and told that the wall is OK. The owner of the parking lot is a different owner where the building collapsed and has given permission for the fence to be installed and talk to Martin Romero. Did call the ownerw rep. let him know that the fence has been installed. Will check in 10 days. RV.
06/20/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the owners rep. and he signed the paperwork. The rep. is calling the contractor, engineers, and the contractor and all will be meeting on site. Did go over on what needs to be done on the cleaning of the property, the permit for the demo process, having the material tested for Abestos, and checking the other building. All the people that were suppose to come to the site have come and check the structure and the building that collapsed and all are going to get back to the owners rep. with prices and on what needs to be done. Did go over the conerns on the Adobe wall on the north side and all are checking if needs to be removed. A fence is going to be installed but has vehicles in the parking spaces and will call when the vehicles are removed and than the fence will be installed. The lock was removed to check the interior of the building that remains on the property. Will be waiting for the results to the owners rep. and waiting for the call to have the fence installed in the parking lot. RV.
