06/11/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received call from communication that T.P.D. on site with a car through building. Arrived and the vehicle has already been removed from the structure. The car hit the southwest bedroom on building #1 unit #111. The damage was to a window to the bedroom and removed the king stud and the trimmer. Did have a built up of studs and had a metal strap on the built up of studs. The window was broken and the exterior had stucco on foam and drywall on the interior. No electrical was visible and will need to be checked if under the sill plate for the window. No one home at the time of the incident and did do a posting of Do Not Enter on the front door. The unit is a 3-bedroom unit and shared with other room mates. The person that hit the structure does live in the unit and will try and call the other room mates to let them know they can not stay in the unit. The unit has upper unit and that also has been condmened at this time due to the bottom need to be secured with the framing before occupied. The manager showed to the property and signed the paperwork and got the maintenance crew to secure the opening. Will check in 30 days.
