Received call from communication that T.P.D. on site with electrical coming from across the street. Arrived and the units were still on site and the extension cords were going to 5644, 5636 E. Camden St. 5636 was a Section 8 house and the 5644 was a vacant house that was being remodled. The front windows were opened and did hear a dog. Did call for someone to come out and no one answered. Did go to a side window and someone answered and she came out. She did have a friend and she was also asked to come out. The person stated that the bill was paid and the power will be turned any day now. Did call T.E.P. and was not able to confirm that the power was going to be turned on and was not found to be turned on at a later time. Was not able to make contact with the owner and will call at daylight. When looking through the window was able to observe numberous cords on the ground and going through out the house. Did find a propane tank for a camping stove by the stove to the house due to the stove would not work without the electrical on and had ignitors for the burners and they would not work. Did go through the house and had extension cords through out and some were connected to surge protectors to add other extension cords. The property was condemned for lack of electrical and the extension cords going to the other properties. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window and the person in the house signed the paperwork and left the site. Did take pictures and all the cords were picked up and placed on the property. Will check in 10 days. RV. |
