06/12/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The tenant called that the water was on and wanted to move back in. Did go to the unit and the water was on but should of still been turned off. Called Felix to check and he called the water department and the water should be off. Did try and turn the water off at the valve and the valve is broken. The back windows have been opened and the owner will be placing plywood over the windows. Did call the owner and he met at the site. The tenant was not allowed in the unit and gave the dog food and water that was in the unit. The posting has been tried to be removed and went over to the tenant that no one can be on site. The owner has evicted the tenants from the unit. Will wait fot the water to be turned back on. RV.
06/08/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The water is still not on to the property and the tenants were advised that they need to be moved out by dark today. The posting of Do Not Enter the property has been posted on the front window. The do have court with the landlord today at 3:00 PM for the eviction. The breaker to the water heater was turned off due to lacking the water to the water heater. Did serve the owner of the property the Notice to Vacate the property today and he signed the paperwork. The owner will check the property at dark to have the property secured. Will check in 10 days. RV.
06/08/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The owner of the property called and the tenants are still in the house. T.P.D. was called to the property and met with the tenants and the tenants left the property. The owner will go tomorrow to the property and change the locks and meet the tenants to remove the items from the house. Did find a window that was unsecured and the owner placed a screw to keep it from being opened. The posting of Do Not Enter was still in place and gave a copy of the N.O.V. to Vacate to T.P.D. for records. The tenants were warned that if caught on the property, that they will be arrested. Will check in 10 days. RV.
06/05/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the tenant and she still does not have water on yet and still working on getting the money. Did meet with Section 8 and they are sending a termination letter to the tenant. Have talk to the owner and is aware of the issue on the property and has a court hearing for eviction on 6-8-17 and will be waiting for that date. Have talk to the tenant and the property will be posterd of Do Not Enter on 6-8-17 and will have to be remove from the property. They did have a cooler in the living room and was putting water to cool the area down. The mother was asked to leave due on a machine to breath. Will be coming back on 6-8-17 to shut down the property. RV.
06/02/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with one of the tenants and they are still working on getting the water on. They signed the N.O.V. to Vacate on Monday if the water is not on. The house is clean and does have water on the property in 5-gal. jugs. Will check on Monday. RV.
