05/27/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received call from communication and T.F.D. on site with water coming from ceiling in unit #122. This unit had a toilet that was over flowing and flooded the unit and the water was leaking to the bottom unit. This water was contained to the bathroom and the sink area. The maintenance was on site and was not allowed to call for someone to extract the water. The manager did show to the property and the company to extract the water was called to the site. The unit is being used as an apartment and the tenant is under Section 8. Did call comunication and asked that someone from Section 8 call and a person from housing called and they do not respond to Section 8 if the City of Tucson does not own the units. Once the unit was extracted, left the unit and the tenants were able to remain in the unit. A fan was installed and the tenant will have to wait till tomorrow and the unit will be checked for moisture in the area. Will notify Section 8 so they can be aware of the case and check the toilet that over flowed. Will call on Tuesday. RV.
