The cover plates are lacking through out on some of the made up boxes. Has exterior lighting still on wirenut connection and some disconnected. The interior of the units had no work done a are lacking some of the smoke detectors, broken cover plates, lacking gloves, no GFCI in the bathrooms that have grounded outlets, broken mirrior, windows are blocked on the exterior and still have the wirndows on the interior, exterior doors not sealed due to lacking weatherstripping and other issues. Only checked a couple of the units and stopped the inspection due to nothing was done to the interiors of the units. The general contractor will meet with the architect and Clayton the Building Offical to check on what has to be done on the interior to get approval. Will check in 30 days. RV. | |

The temporary fence have been piled up and have been picked up by Biff Baker Fence. The electrical contractor was on site and was leaving for the day. No inspection have been done and only doing work on the exterior and nothing on the interior. Will get with the building official on checking if any requirements will be required to be done on the interior. Has roofing material on site and not sure what has been done on the new roffing being installed. Did do posting of Do Not Enter on the front windows due to lacking electrical to the units #14 to #23. Did look at one of the units that wa vacant and the architect checked what is in the units. The carports being removed was discussed and not replacing the carports. Did let the architect know that the temporary power is through out the property and nothing from the existing electrical system is connected and has all been removed. The architect and the general contractor will be meeting with the owner to discuss if they are going to be hired. Will check in 5 days. RV. | |
05/18/2017 | INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE | Approved | Met with the Building Offical Clayton Trevillyan and showed pictures of the carports and the ramada in the front by the pool area. Showed the bowing of the beams and how stiffeners have been installed to support the exixting beams and rafters. Showed where some of the wood post have been hit and have no anchoring connectors and have been braced or tried to be repaired where the post stand through out. Did get approval to condemned the carports and the ramada and place a fence around the carports and the ramada. Did call the owner to let him know on the carports being condemned and he was not able to show to the property due to has no vehicle at this time. Was advised by the owner to let the manager on site know what is being done and to show him the concerns and what is going to be done on the fencing to secure the carports and the ramada. The brother of the owner signed the paperwork and showed when almost completed on placing the temporary fencing on the carports and the ramada. Biff Baker Fencing was called to the site to have the carports and the ramada secured with 41-panels, 21-Tee post, 8-Free standing posts. Did meet with the General Contractor and not sure if going to do the work with the architect and the engineer for the electrical and the carports. The General Contractor will be meeting or calling the owner to check on the next step. RV. | |
