02/01/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Arrived at 7:00 AM and found two men and a truck in the back yard removing scrap metal. Called TPD for assistance. Clean-up crew arrived, but could not access the property until cleared. Men with the truck left about 7:30. Another homeless man showed up wanting his jacket. I told him to leave and the property was posted. He went behind my back and took a jacket and bicycle. Supervisor Romero arrived and we cleared the property so the crew could start work. Supervisor asked to contact TEP to remove the service wires and cut at the pole. TEP took the wire and meter with them. The panel has had all the wire already stripped out. TPD arrived at 9:00 and I explained what we had happening on the property. It was two officers and a Lieutenant. Clean up crew removed all dead vegetation from the front along with refuse and debris. Trees and cactus were trimmed back. A rear door on the shed was resecured and the front gate was rechained and locked. Found a second gate on the north side and locked it. Crew left at 11:00 and pictures of the property were taken.
