I WAS ASKED BY RICK SALDATE TO LOOK AT SPECIFIC ISSUES, MY FINDINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS: >STARTED AT THE REAR OF THE STRUCTURE, THE REAR STORAGE ROOM AND OFFICE WERE FRAMED PER PLAN WITH NEW WEST WALL FRAMED TO THE CEILING. >CORRIDOR / BATHROOM AREA FRAMED PER PLAN AS WELL. > THE FUTURE USE SPACE WAS FRAMED OUT BUT DID NOT APPEAR PER PLAN. UNSURE IF AND WHEN THAT WOULD BE INSPECTED, BUT IT IS COMPLETED. QUALITY OF WORK IS QUESTIONABLE. IT APPEARED TO BE ANOTHER STORAGE ROOM, BUT WAS USED TO MONITOR THE SECURITY CAMERAS, HAD A DESK, L SHAPED SOFA AND A BED WITH STORAGE ITEMS EVERYWHERE. IT WAS NOT CLEAR WHAT BED WAS BEING USED FOR BUT AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION HAD STORAGE ITEMS ON TOP OF THE BED. >FUTURE USE AREA WALLS WERE NOT FRAMED TO THE CEILING PER PLAN. >THE FLOOR PLAN FOR FRONT LOUNGE AREA SHOWED TABLES AND CHAIRS AND COUCHES DISPERSED THRU OUT THE FRONT AREA, THERE WERE ONLY COUCHES LINING THE OUTSIDE WALLS, ALLOWING FOR A DANCE AREA. > THERE WAS A DJ, BUT NO DANCING AT THE TIME > OWNERS PROVIDED BUSINESS LICENSE, TOBACCO LICENSE, AND A OCCUPANY PAPERWORK FOR 150 PEOPLE (NOT A LEGAL C/O). I EXPLANED THAT WAS NOT POSSIBLE AS OFFICIAL C/O NOT YET ISSUED. >TFD HAS ALLOWED FOR 49 PEOPLE OCCUPANY UNSURE WHO ALLOWED FOR OR CAME UP WITH THAT NUMBER. I COUNTED OVER 50 PEOPLE, TFD AND TPD COUNTED UNDER. >TPD STATED PAPER IN THE WINDOWS BLOCKING VISUAL TO THE INTERIOR OF THE STORE WAS NOT LEGAL FOR THE RETAIL USE, AND WOULD NEED TO COME DOWN, OWNERS WERE GIVEN 24 HRS TO REMOVE. MY DECISION WAS NOT MADE DUE TO SHUT DOWN THE LOUNGEDUE TO THE DISCREPANCIES OF THE C/O, PLANS PERMITS AND FINAL INSPECTIONS OF THE PERMITS, AND USE OF THE STRUCTURE. CONTACTED RICK SALDATE AND INFORMED HIM OF MY FINDINGSAND WHAT I FOUND. GLEN D'AURIA IS TO BE PROVIDED WITH A ORIGINAL SET OF PLANS WITH DIMENSIONS TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE FUTURE USE ROOM IS FRAMED CORRECTLY. CLAYTON TREVILLYAN WILL BE CONTACTED. |
