They have now uncoved more electrical violations. It was explanied what needed licensed contractors to do the work. He stated that they wanted to remove the wall furnance and replace with a heatpump on the roof. That will need a permit. They want to change the water heater to an electric one and that will need a permit. | |

Discovered the water heater is in a hazardous condition. No T&P piping and coroded. Inspector Vidal agreed with the determination for the wall heater and electric. Owner showed up as I was leaving see conditions. | |

Electrical work was done by his maintance man and not to standards. No permit obtained as of this time. Tenant had a mechancial contractor come to repair the cooler and wall heater and the invoice states different than what the owner says. Need assisantence to determine wall and ceiling repairs. | |
| 04/26/2017 | INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE | Approved | Met with the owner and looked at the door that was installed on the north side of the unit. The pre-hung door has been removed and the framing was able to be looked at and was pre-existing opening and just remove the old door and placed the new pre-hung in the opening. The trimmers may have been replaced with new but the header was the existing. The door will be replaced and no permit is required at this time. The wall furnace has been repaird and was serviced by a contractor and the owner will get the billing and make a copy to give to the inspector for the file for records. The cooler has been repaired and the tenant was not on site to check if operable. The tenant will be called to check if operable. The electrical has issues and will require a permit to have the correction inspected by Planning and Development Services Department. There are issues with the tenant and the landlord and the owner will need addtional time to make the correction on the interior of the unit. RV. | |

The gas was repaired by a tradesman and he is tryibg to get us paperwork for that. The electrical needs a permit. He was shown what was done and the concerns for that workmanship. He stated the the drywall repairs have been done as well as the cooler repairs. We did not get interior access to check. He stated that the smoke detectors had been replaced. I will contact the tenant for interior access. |
