03/02/2017 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | On Saturday had a fire on a chair and was burned. The tenants put the fire out and the fire department was not called out that night. T.P.D. responded to a call on Monday and saw the damage and Code Enforcement called out. The windows were broken from the fire and the owner boarded up the windows. There was no damage on the interior of the house other than the windows being brokened. The sprinkler head was broken and was not going off. The sprinkler head was replaced by the owner and the water was turned back on and the fire system re-charged. The water did not come out of the head due to some one turned off the valve on the third floor sprinkler valve when a water heater was vandalized. Once the valve turned back on the system charged back up and the alarm sounded off. The tenant has been evicted and will be moved out by tonight close to 8:00 PM. The electrical will be turned off after 6:00 PM at the breaker by the owner. The oenr boarded up the windows and did a posting of Do Not Enter on the front window. Called Rick Saldate and let him know the results of the fire and wants to have the unit check on Monday. The owner signed the paper work and left the site. Will check on Monday. RV. |
