Arrived and the units were still on site and had a fire on a griddle in the kitchen area. The fire was contained to the griddle and the gas lines were damaged from the fire with a large amount of grease on it. The gas was removed at the meter by being pinned by Southwest Gas due to the damage to the griddle and the gas lines. Had electrical outlets that will need to be changed due to filled with grease near the griddle and other equipment. There was no damage to the building or the other equipment. The fire suppression system did go off and will need to be check and reset with an inspection. Did call the fire investigators to the site and they stated that a fire inspector will need to come to the site to check the system and the fire damage. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front of the building. The store manager was on site and the owners did come to the property to check the damage. The health department was also called to the site to check on the food and what has to be done. The manager signed the paper work and left the site. Will check in 10 days. RV. |
