04/03/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Arrived on site met with maintenance man of the property David asked if he would be around while I did my inspection. Met with tenant of Unit 17 State she has roach problems and that maintenance does not spray the units. She has to rely on her own sprays, did see a couple cans of raid on the counter and she showed me roaches in the kitchen area and in the bedroom area. In the kitchen area she was missing the door to the cabinet under the sink, also had problems with knobs to her stove which I informed her that the City of Tucson does not deal with appliances. She showed me above the refrigerator the roof line in this case sheetrock was bowed downwards but ceiling was not wet or even moist. Asked tenant if I could bring in the maintenance man which she agreed. Showed maintenance man the missing door under the sink and the bowed ceiling which he said he would start working on, Judy made mention of the knobs to the stove which maintenance man said he would work on getting her new knobs. Ask for the Exterminator, maintenance states that they are there the 10th of every month but this unit does not allow them in, and when they do come in she is not ready for them to spray as she does not move furniture away from the wall. There was a discussion back and forth between maintenance and her. An Nov will be sent out for the roaches, the ceiling and the cabinet door and will be hand-delivered to the maintenance supervisor tomorrow and another copy mailed out to the owner in Green Valley.
