Received a call from communication that T.F.D. on site with a kitchen fire. Arrived and the units were still on site. The fire investigators were on site checking for the cause. The fire was in the oven and burn the drywall behind the stove. The outlet for the stove and oven 220 and the 110 for the timer burned and were diconnected in the wall. The electrical was turned back on. The breaker for the stove and oven were left off on the exterior panel. The plug for the microwave was removed from the outlet in the cabinet above the microwave due to th damage to the microwave. The drywall was burned behind the stove and oven from the floor to the bottom of the microwave, approx. 15 s.f. Has light smoke damage in the kitchen and the living room. The owner signed the paper work and the owner will be able to stay in the house in a couple of days once the smell of smoke goes away. The gas and electrical remained on with lacking gas to the stove and oven due to the flex line was damaged and was capped at the shut off valve. Once the electical was turned back on did check and everything was working. The outlet behind the stove and oven were cut off and has wire nuts where the wires were cut. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
