01/30/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a structure fire. Arrived and the units are completed with the fire and the fire investigators are completed on the cause. The fire was in the managers residents portion of the office and in the bedroom section. The fire was a candle burning and lighting a cabinet drawer and started to burn on the walls to the ceiling. The room had a sprinkler system and went off in the bedroom, hallway and in the closet. The electrical was turned of to the section of the building by T.F.D. The bedroom had the smoke detector melted with some of the wiring burned, the lights in the ceiling over the bed had the coverplates melted with an outlet near the cabinet that will need to be checked for heat damage. The water from the sprinkler did go into another unit of #133 and had no fire damage. The person in the unit #133 has been moved to another unit already. The manager has been told to get a person for the sprinkler heads being repaired, and an electrician to check on what needs to be done to get the power on to the areas that currently have no electrical. The manager signed the paper work on the N.O.V. and Indemnification. The electrical contractor did show while on site and was able to turn all the electrical back on once he checked the damaged wiring on the smoke detector and the lighting and outlet. Did call inspector Morales to assist on checking on what areas had power and what did not have power. The sprinkler heads were reapired and the fire system was back on line. Will check in 30 days. RV.
