Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the unit was waiting to show where the fire was located. The fire was in the dryer only and no damage to the structure. The dryer was placed on the rear porch. Some drywall was removed to check for fire extension into the wall and found none. The gas was removed at the meter due to the venting for the water heater was not working property, the drain line was lacking for the T.P.R. valve which has a hose bibb and the gas furnace was not able to turn on due to lacking the electrical. T.E.P. had already removed the meter due to the fire damage and was not able to call TEP back due to the electrical panel has double lugging, missing the blanks where breakers are lacking and has romex that was added and have been slpiced for fans and lights on the rear porch. The front bedroom have security bars that are not able to open and are lacking the breakaway devices in the event of the emergency of a fire for a rapid escape. The house was condemned due to lacking gas and the electrical. Did the posting of Do Not Enter on the front windows. Did let the owner know that the permit is required for the repairs or replacement for the water heater, repairs to the electrical panel and re-connect for the gas and the electrical to be turned back on. Will check in 10 days. RV. |
