Inspector called from precon and expressed concern about the placement of driveway and possible encroachment of vehicles onto sidewalk after construction. Noted in field that the approved plans called for a new gate to be installed that allowed for two vehicles to park onsite at residence. Contractor for developer was made aware that parking on the sidewalk in the future is prohibited and subject to fine. Recommeneded that the gate be installed either in congruence or immediately after the driveway installation.

2.) Contractor also made aware that changes to layout of the approved plans must go through the engineer of record before seeking approval from TDOT.
