Add note on SHEET 1 "repair existing sign - paint/neon/electric as needed per Historic Landmark Sign Case T16SA00108". Structural review: Acknowledged existing sign, existing support pole - "welded collar" on sheet 2 is new. Appears field welding. 1) If welded collar is not for sign cabinet support but to stabilize cabinet into one position, no engineering required. Provide clarification note on SHEET 1 under description of work. Provide sealed engineering calculations if collar is used for cabinet support. 2) Field welds require special inspection, regardless of whether engineering calcs needed.
