11/07/2016 FIRE INSP - STATE LICENSE Denied TFC 1011.6.3 Power source. Exit signs shall be illuminated at all times. To ensure continued illumination for a duration of not less than 90 minutes in case of primary power loss, the sign illumination means shall be connected to an emergency power system provided from storage batteries, unit equipment or an on-site generator. The installation of the emergency power system shall be in accordance with Section 604.
Exception: Approved exit sign illumination means that provide continuous illumination independent of external power sources for a duration of not less than 90 minutes, in case of primary power loss, are not required to be connected to an emergency electrical system.
1) Your back up exit sign power source (battery) is not lighting your exit signs over your North exit from the building and in the dressing room hallway. You shall cause the backup power source for your exit signs to operate correctly.


TFC 907.8 Inspection, testing and maintenance. The maintenance and testing schedules and procedures for fire alarm and fire detection systems shall be in accordance with Sections 907.8.1 through 907.8.5 and NFPA 72.
NFPA 72 (2010) 26.6.3.2.1.5 (2) DACT Transmission Means. The DACT shall be capable of selecting the operable means of transmission in the event of failure of the other means.
1) The last report (page 5) of inspection/test/maintenance by Copperstate shows that the second phone line for transmission that was tested on the DACT did not transmit signals to the supervising station. You shall ensure that the second means of transmission is sending signals to the supervising station in the event of primary transmission line failure.
