12/06/2016 FIRE INSP - STATE LICENSE Denied TFC 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm, and extinguishing systems, mechanical smoke exhaust systems, and smoke and heat vents shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Non required fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed.
1) The last sprinkler report states that the tamper switch is activating the electric bell. The tamper should send a supervisory signal to a panel and a constantly monitored central station. You shall have the sprinkler/alarm system serviced so that all functions are per NFPA 72 and NFPA 13 & 25.
2) Room # B-23 has an escutcheon plate that is too low. You shall have the head refit by a qualified sprinkler service company so that the escutcheon is seated at the acoustic ceiling and no pipe is exposed.

TFC 1030.2 Reliability. Required exit accesses, exits and exit discharges shall be continuously maintained free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency when the building area served by the means of egress is occupied. An exit or exit passageway shall not be used for any purpose that interferes with a means of egress.
1) The NW exit door was blocked by equipment on wheels. You shall maintain hallways, corridors and exit paths free of obstructions.

TFC 1008.1.9.4 Bolt locks. Manually operated flush bolts or surface bolts are not permitted.
1) You shall remove the bolt lock on the 'fish bowl' gate.
2) You shall remove the slide bolt on interior door
3) You shall remove the surface mounted bolt on the exterior house keeping









TFC 703.2 Opening protectives. Opening protectives shall be maintained in an operative condition in accordance with NFPA 80. Where allowed by the fire code official, the application of field-applied labels associated with the maintenance
of opening protectives shall follow the requirements of the approved third-party certification organization accredited for listing the opening protective. Fire doors and smoke barrier doors shall not be blocked or obstructed, or otherwise made
inoperable. Fusible links shall be replaced promptly whenever fused.
1) Kitchen to dining room door - UL tag is painted over. You shall remove paint from listing tag so it is easily read.

TFC 1006.1 Illumination required. The means of egress, including the exit discharge, shall be illuminated at all times the building space served by the means of egress is occupied.
1) Emergency lights B-3 and c-1 not working.
2) You shall provide emergency lighting on all exterior exits.
