Per Building Official: If the facility is licensed under the State as a group home for the developmentally disabled (per ARS 36-582), they can have up to six unrelated residents in addition to two care givers and still be considered a single family residence. This means that as long as the building is approved to be used as a private residence, no additional approval can be required by a local authority. The facility is properly licensed by the State. |
