Received call from communicatin that T.F.D. on site with a car thru building. Arrived and the accident was still active in the investigation with T.P.D. A truck did hit the building and breaking the glass store front window and door. The glass was shattered and was knocked down while on site. The truck did hit the steel post that supports the steel beams over the openings of the windows and door and has pulled the beam down. The plaster or drywall that covered the steel beam has cracked or fallen down. The wood framed wall that separates the spaces with drywall has been pushed in with some of the studs broken. Not able to find electrical that was damaged but will need to be checked. The unit is going to be condemned and has a rear door and the owner of the business will be allowed to go into the unit but not for business only to remove items or get items as needed. Due to not able to make contact with the owner, called Arcaiden Industries to have the unit secured. The front door is able to lock at this time. The tenants that were on site also tried to call the owner with no answer. Will check in 45 days. RV. |
