11/17/2016 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received call from Rick Saldate the supervisor that T.P.D. on site with a collasped ceiling. Arrived and T.P.D. was on site to do a wellfare check on the unit. When they arrive the unit was opened and no tenant in the unit. They talk to some of the tenants and they has not seen her in a few weeks. The ceilings were falling due to the roof leaking. This was in several areas and in the hallway has a plastic container catching water leaking from the cooler. Did go on the roof and the roof is lacking roof coating where the roof drains into scuppers. No smoke detectors and some of the windows are not able to lock. The maintenance was on site and had him secure a electrical conduit to the wall that was loose for the light fixture. While on site the owner did show and went over the that the tenant has not been seen for some time. He did state that she does leave for period of time with family members. Did ask the owner to have the unit secured and he will have the unit secured. The owner did sign all the paper work. Did let the owner know that the unit needs to be kept vacant until the unit is inspected for min. housing condition. Will check in 30 days. RV.
