Did call officer Sherman and went over the issues on the property. Did go to the site and found where the electrical was removed to the mobile home due to lack of payment. The tenant was removed from the property and had someone staying in the unit and was not allowing entry into the unit. Did go and tell the person that due to the electrical lacking to the mobile home that the unit was being condemned. He was asked to leave the unit and talk to the manager to have the property secured. The tenant was taken to jail and not sure when she is coming out. When checking the unit to make sure no other person in the unit, found issues with the water heater, the plumbing is leaking in the tub and shower and around the toilet. Has soft spots on the flooring, roaches were heavy in the unit. The unit was not cleaned and has items piled in curtain areas. Had no smoke detectors any where. Did do the posting on the front door of "Do Not Enter". The manager did secure the unit and signed the paper work. The person staying in the unit was asked to leave the property by the manager. Did go over what needs to be done to have unit rent ready. Will check in 60 days. RV. |
