09/29/2016 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a mobile home fire. Arrived and the units had left the site and the investigators were still on site checking for cause. The owner was out of town due to work and the daughter was staying in the mobile home and was at another site. The security guard pulled the breaker from the pedistal to remove the electrical to the mobile home. The gas meter was left on . The fire was on the rear door where someone started the fire on the steps going to the rear door. The metal awning was burned over the door where a hole was burned through the metal. T.P.D. did talk to the owner and was out of town and not able to get some one to secure the property. The owner gave permission over the phone to have the property secured. Called Arcaiden Industries to have the property secured. Secured the rear door, a 3030 SH and a dogie door on the front door with plywood. Did the posting of "Do Not Enter" on the front window and posted the Notice to Vacate with it. The interior of the mobile home was OK except where the holes were made in the ceiling near the rear door to check for fire. Some of the wood siding was burned around the rear door on both sides to the roof line. The roof for the mobile home is OK. Had a truck near the fire area and appears to be OK. The owner will be back to town on the 31st of October. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
