Arrived and all the unit have cleared and the investigators are on site. Had a fire on the kitchen stove and burned the range hood over the stove, the cabinet over the stove, the drywall on the walls and ceilings and the smoke went into the living room area. The drywall was pulled down on the walls and ceilings to check for fire past the drywall. The light fixture was damaged in the fire and will need to be replaced. No other damage to the other units. The management on site and placed the tenant in another unit. They moved her bed and clothing to the other unit. The management signed the paper work and the power was turned off at the sub-panel in the bathroom due to not able to lock out the main breaker due to lacking the cover. The breaker is turned off at this time on the exterior of the unit. Did go over that a permit is required for the replacement of the drywall. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
